Founded in Aberdeen by Lewis Quinn and Mike Anderson, Q&A Law Practice was built on the belief that legal advice should be practical, commercial and easy to understand. Lewis Quinn
Lewis is a commercial property lawyer with extensive experience advising landlords, tenants, developers, investors, and banks on various transactions, including commercial lettings, investment acquisitions, and property development. After training and qualifying at a respected Aberdeenshire legal practice, he spent four years at an international law firm before co-founding Q & A Law Practice.

Mike Anderson
Mike is a highly experienced commercial property and employment lawyer, advising funders, developers, and investors across retail, office, and commercial developments. Based in Aberdeen throughout his career, he spent 22 years as Managing Partner of a boutique legal practice before leading the Aberdeen office of an international law firm and founding Q & A Law Practice.

Kerry Strachan
Kerry is a solicitor at Q&A Law Practice, specialising in commercial property. She studied her LLB and Diploma at Robert Gordon University and completed her two-year traineeship at a boutique law firm in Aberdeen. Kerry then went onto work for a well-established UK law firm before joining Q&A in 2025, where she focuses on commercial leasing transactions, and sales and purchases, acting for a variety of clients across the commercial property sector.

Kate Aizpuru
Kate is a solicitor and a notary public at Q&A Law Practice, where she completed her two-year traineeship and qualified in 2024. She supports the commercial team and advises clients across a broad range of transactions, including commercial leasing and the purchase and sale of business properties. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling (both around Scotland and abroad), watching movies, and spending time with her friends, family, and her cat.

Claire Smith
Claire Smith is a Legal Executive with over 15 years’ experience advising on commercial acquisitions, sales and leases, as well as corporate disposals and acquisitions. She acts for SMEs, developers, partnerships, individuals and start-ups, providing commercially focused advice across a wide range of transactions.Claire is known for her pragmatic approach and ability to steer complex matters through to completion efficiently. She works closely with her clients to structure transactions strategically, manage risk and deliver outcomes aligned with their long-term business objective
